The blue-white-sky blue midfieder will not participate in the final meeting of the group stage of the UEFA Champions League due to picking up a yellow card during Zenit v Valencia.
Witsel picked up his third yellow card of this season’s Champions League against Valencia so will miss the final group stage match.
The match against Gent will be held in Belgium on 9th December and will start at 22:45 St. Petersburg time.
