TANGO WITH THE RED DEVILS

Belgium have made it through to the top 8 teams of FIFA’s World Cup for the first time in 28 years, after winning USA (2-1) in a heart-breaking game!

Origi needed only 40 seconds to test the American defense but Howard was there, while Hazard was a constant threat and the Americans replying with Dempsey’s unlucky shot.
Second half saw USA defending with an unbeatable Tim Howard keeping his team in play. Game was driven to extra time and turned into a rodeo with great pace from both teams. Mark Wilmots threw in fresh legs of Romelu Lukaku and moments later he rewarded him with an assist to Kevin De Bruyne and a goal a couple of minutes later.
USA responded the same way Belgium did, with a goal from a substitute (Green) making the score 2-1 to Belgium and adding hopes to Klinsmann’s team.

The Americans pressed and could have scored an equalizer but the final whistle found Belgium celebrating their qualification to the quarterfinals, where Leo Messi and his teammates await.
