KAA Gent stood in the way of Zenit’s perfect run on UEFA’s Champions League group H, stopping the Russian champions from becoming only the seventh side to win all six of their group games.
Axel Witsel, Javi Garcia and Ezequiel Garay now all face former club SL Benfica in the round of 16, as the draw revealed earlier in Nyon. The two clubs met again last year where the Blue-White-Sky blues won both home and away group games.
First match will take place in Portugal on 16th of February with the return leg at Petrovsky stadium on March 9th.
