KRASNODAR STEALS WIN ON INJURY TIME

Spartak Moscow continues to lead the Russian league race with CSKA leaving another two points at home and Zenit travelling to Krasnodar to keep up on the hunt of the Moscow team.

The two keepers had an easy first half as both teams lacked creating chances for a goal with Axel being booked at the 45′ minute to miss next week’s home game vs Ufa.

The game was heading to a goalless draw but what we didn’t see in 85′ minutes, did see in the remaining ten (with 4′ added extra time).

Witsel dribbled his way and shot from the edge of Krasnodar’s box at the 86′ minute, Sinitsyn blocked but Dzyuba was there to pick up and net in the opener.

Krasnodar pushed back Zenit into defending and  Izmailov tied things up at the 91st minute with an awkward shot/deflection as Criscito couldn’t clear the danger.

Home team didn’t stop searching for the winner even with seconds remaining and they found it in almost dead time. Lodygin cleared a cross and Okriashvili scored what can possibly be the goal of the season with a bicycle kick through they eye of a needle to give a dramatic win for Krasnodar.

Spartak Moscow is now six points clear in front of Zenit while Krasnodar climbed up into third place with two match days remaining in 2016.
