It’s nice to see you in a very good mood. Is the Champions League match different from the championship for you? Also the fact that the coach of Lyon said that he saw the two different Zenit teams one in Europe and one that in the Premier League. Maybe for you it is important to show yourself in Europe?
– Definitely some Champions League matches are special, but it was because of the recent results from the Premier League. There are certain challenges, but I believe that our motivation is as equally high in Russia as at European level.
You already know about Lyon, especially after the game with Gent. What do you think will tomorrow be easier for Zenit ? And what place would you put Lyon between Valencia and the Belgians?
– The match will be different. As I see it Lyon are stronger than Gent. I must admit that the first game for Lyon in the Champions League I was surprised, and perhaps they were themselves. But if I need to rate the teams, I will say that in our group there are three strong teams, Zenit, Valencia and Lyon and we will do everything to get first place.
Do you see tomorrow’s match as a decisive?
– If we win tomorrow, it is almost one hundred percent probability will go through. Of course we want to do it as soon as possible, close all the questions. In this sense it will be a decisive match.
