Players and coaching staff of Zenit football club went into the winter holiday, after last night’s final game against Alkmaar (3-2 defeat) for the Europa League group stage.
The team will rest for the next month. On January 9, the blue-white-blue will gather in St. Petersburg and after a medical examination will depart for the first training camp in UAE from 11 to 22 January. Spain and Turkey to be the next two stages.
Information on schedules and friendly games will be announced later.
The first official match in the second half of the season 2016-17 will be for the UEFA Europa League (last 32) on 16 February 2017.
